Stanley Leroy Trissell Jr

Stanley Leroy Trissell, Jr., age 80, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026. Stan was born in Piqua, Ohio, on July 15, 1946, to the late Stanley Sr. & Marie (Civetti) Trissell. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother David; daughter Kimberly Trissell Erwin; and son Anthony Trissell.

Stanley proudly served his country with the Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved boating, especially at Indian Lake. He also loved his children dearly. Later in life, he picked up playing video games on his computer. Stanley started his professional life as an engineer and later became an attorney.

Stan is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Susan (Crow) Trissell; his son Terry Trissell; his daughter MaryAnn Trissell; his grandchildren Erica Trissell Ferguson, Jordan Trissell, Kailyn Hatfield, Zachariah Erwin, Braedon Erwin; two great-grandchildren; he is also survived by his extended family and many good friends.

Private services will be held for Stanley.
