Shirley Ann Neil

Shirley Ann Neil, aged 90 of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025. Shirley was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 28th, 1935, to the late Arthur and Eula Neil. She was a proud lifelong resident of Ohio. Shirley was a hard, diligent worker and was recognized for her contribution by her employers, NCR and Xerox Corporation.

During her lifetime, Shirley donated to many charities, especially the Humane Society and the Veterans Society. After retirement, Shirley loved spending time with friends and traveling throughout the USA and Ireland Shirley loved dogs, especially Casey and Gretchen, who lived long lives at her side. An avid collector and was extremely proud of her teddy bears.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister Jeanette, brother John, and her nieces and nephews, and her special friends. 

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Chibueze Asiegbulem at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, at St. Christopher Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
