Sharon Lee Riffel

RIFFEL, Sharon Lee, 87, of Butler Township, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026 at Danbury of Huber Heights. She was born to Harry & Sarah Porter on Dec. 28, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Sharon will be remembered with love by her family and all who knew her.

Sharon made Danbury her home over the past several years, and her family is grateful for the kindness and care she received there.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas, whom she married in 1963; her sons, Thomas (Kathy) and Matthew (Stacey); her grandchildren, Chandler (Ben), Kylie, Morgan (Justin), Madison (Brayden), and great-grandchildren, Myles and Maverick.

A graduate of Bowling Green University, Sharon retired after a career teaching at Northmont Public Schools. She enjoyed golfing, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon, Tuesday Nov. 10, 2026 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH 45377, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Rev.
