Shannon Baker

Age 52, of South Lebanon, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Shannon was born October 17, 1972 in Kettering to the late Clinton & Phyllis Baker.

Shannon will be remembered as being a loving father. For 15 years he was employed by General Motors Truck & Bus and later worked as an LPN at Friendship Village. When his health permitted he served as a minister at his home church, Dryden Road Pentecostal Church.

Shannon is survived by his two children, Brayton Cole “Bub” Baker and Reagan Shea-Ellen “Sis” Baker; the mother to his children, Tammy Ellen Baker; his parent in-laws, Donald & Penny Blevins; brother & sister-in-law, Tim & Jennifer Blevins; nephew, Derek Blevins; niece, Breanna Blevins; and by his extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 9, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday (7/10) at the funeral home with Pastors Tim Blevins and Joe Parker officiating. Interment will be at Deerfield Cemetery in Morrow, Ohio.

The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the nurses, aides and staff at The Laurels of Huber Heights for the loving care they provided to Shannon.
