Sara Sue Adkins, 82, of Vandalia, passed away Friday August 9, 2024. She was born to Robert & Dorothy Price on October 25, 1941 in Chillicothe, Ohio. Sara was a 1959 graduate of Wayne High School and retired from AT & T (formerly Ohio Bell) after over 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Merry Lou Barr & Jacqueline McCormick; brother, Robert M. Price, Sr.; brother-in-law, Edward D. Fisher.
Survived by her daughter, Tracy Adkins; sister, Theresa Fisher; brother, James R. Price; numerous nieces, nephews & many friends.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 South Dixie Drive, Vandalia, Ohio 45377 with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Joel Sutton, officiating. The burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia. Condolences can be shared at www.MortonWhetstoneFH.com.
