Sandra Jean Bratton

Sandra Jean Bratton, 90, of Dayton, passed away Monday, July 13, 2026. She was born to Albert & Ruth Niswonger on Feb. 11, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio. Sandra graduated from Kiser High School and worked as a bookkeeper at N.C.R. She and her husband Kenneth founded and operated Hydro Security Systems and Tipp City Pipe & Supply. She enjoyed her family and was an avid Bingo player. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Kenneth C. Bratton, in 2014; sister, Carol Gierck; niece, Rebecca Leach; best friends, Jane Peck, Jim Peck & Mick Greer. Survived by her 3 sons, Mark S. Bratton (Karen), Kent T. Bratton & Randy S. Bratton (Cathy); 7 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, including those in Augusta, Kentucky. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Friday July 24 at Polk Grove Cemetery, 9190 Frederick Pike, Dayton, OH 45414. Arrangements entrusted to the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
