Ruthann Popp-Geis
Age 80, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019. Ruthann was born April 24, 1938 in Dayton to the late Charles F. & Edith (Fish) Bergquist. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, James R. Popp; second husband, Raymond Geis; and a stepson, Michael Geis.
Ruthann was an avid gardener and loved animals.
She is survived by four sons, Randy Popp (Karla), Perry Popp (Debbie), Doug Popp (Patti) & Timothy Geis (Cindy); two sisters, Julie Caldwell (Harvey) & Dawn Bergquist; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday (1/15) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday (1/16) at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Malcosky will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
