Rosemary A. Shilt

Age 95, of Butler Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in the loving embrace of her family. Rosemary was born January 21, 1931 in Dayton to the late Alvin & Carolyn (Kippenberger) Shively. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles E. Shilt, in 2007; one brother, Larry; and one sister, Julia.

Rosemary is survived by five children, Vickie Marker (Ray), Rick Shilt (Cindy), Kim Shilt, Shawn Shilt (Floria) & Shane Shilt (Margaret); grandchildren, Heather (Chris), Megan (Johnathan), Nathan (Amanda), Amy (Nick), Monica (Jason), Ryan, Cory (Brittany), Coty, Casey, Camden, Chase, Hailey (Clayton), Troy (Casey) and many great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 9, at the Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Richard Triplett officiating. Entombment will be in Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that contributions be made to Day City Hospice, 7601 Paragon Road, Suite 201, Centerville, Ohio 45459. Morton & Whetstone funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
