Rosella W. Wallace

WALLACE, Rosella M. Rosie age 84, a resident of Springmeade Nursing Center, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Monday, December 17, 2007 after a short illness. She was born March 25, 1923 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Benny & Emma (Peterson) Pentaudi. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jason Jay Wallace in 1993; 2 sisters, and 3 brothers, Rosie is survived by her 3 daughters, Mary & husband, Dan Swallows, Yolanda & husband, Rob Hunter, all of Clayton, and Joann & husband, Larry Huyett of Englewood; 1 son, Dwight & wife, Betty Wallace of FL; 5 granchildren, Charles & wife, Joette Wick, Don & wife, Tammy Wick, Jeff & wife, Christine Hunter, Michael & wife, Amber Wallace and Tammy Garrison; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; 1 brother, James Pentaudi; 1 sister, Lucille Abbott; 1 sister-in-law, Waneta Wallace; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 21, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the Wellness Connection in Rosies memory.
