Roger Neil Rizzardi, MD

Roger Neil Rizzardi, MD, 79, of Butler Township, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 at his home. He was born to Frank & Josephine Rizzardi on March 9, 1945 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Roger was a graduate of Fairfield University, in Connecticut, and received his medical degree from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles Faculty of Medicine in Brussels, Belgium. He retired from medicine in 2014, after a lifetime of service.

Roger was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, in Vandalia, and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid cyclist, golfer, skier & loved to travel. Roger enjoyed Square Dancing and Ballroom Dancing as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Josephine Rizzardi, and his wife, Michele Rizzardi.

Survived by his beloved wife of 3 years, Debbie Rizzardi; sons, Michael Frank Rizzardi, Kevin Rizzardi (Melanie) and Nicholas James Rizzardi (Jennifer); daughter, Catherine Hall; step-son, Jonathan Jasper (April); step-daughter, Stephanie Hubbard (Chris); brothers, Richard & David Rizzardi; sister, Francine Wolf (Michael); 8 grandchildren, Chloe, Gabrielle, Brady, Maggie, Brooklyn, Easton, Chandler & Dylan; 2 great grandchildren, Willow & Jax; 5 step-grandchildren, Weston, Laurel, Will, Abby & Kassidy; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
