Rodney S. Eakle

EAKLE, Rodney S., age 37 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. He was born November 27, 1974 in Dayton, OH. Rodney was a former employee of Cooper Tire & Maxwell Lightning Protection and was a regular at the Submarine House in Vandalia. Preceded in death by his father, Gary Eakle in 2011, maternal & paternal grandparents and 1 uncle, Lester Randly, Rodney is survived by his mother, Marie Eakle of Kettering; 1 sister, Leslie Eakle of Kettering; 1 niece, Lilly Fugate and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A Celebration of Rodneys life will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 22 at Celebrations Banquet Center II, 7615 Poe Ave., Dayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Art Van Atta Park, c/o Montgomery County Parks & Grounds, 7th Floor, 451 W. Third Street, Dayton, OH 45422 in Rodneys memory.
