Robin L. Posma

POSMA, Robin L., 62, of Union, passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022. She was born to Joan Blase on Aug. 2, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio. Preceded in death by her mother, Joan, and her brother, Jeff Blase. Robin graduated from Meadowdale High School Class of 1977. She has served as a Montgomery County Court Mediator, Vandalia Fire Department administrative assistant for 2 chiefs, Vandalia Schools Citizen Advisory Board, Vandalia & Huber Heights Court Mediator, Vandalia Lions Club past president, The Presidents Club past president, Vandalia Baseball Commission for 22 years and the only woman president, Vandalia Soccer League supervisor, Vandalia Pee Wee Football board member and cheerleader coordinator, AMVETS Post #99 Ladies Auxiliary member. Survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Dave Posma; son, David Posma; daughter, Lorie Combs (Kerry); brother, Tim Blase; grandchildren, Madison Combs, Jordan Combs & Paige Berhow (David). Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Pastor Karl Penn, officiating. Interment to follow at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
