Roberta K. Darner

DARNER, Roberta K. (Hept), age 73 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Grandview Hospital. She was born February 14, 1943 in Dayton, daughter of the late Robert E. & H. Evelyn (Chitwood) Hept. Roberta is survived by her husband of 50 years, Patrick Darner; 1 daughter, Kerry Duddridge (Mark) of Dayton; 2 step-daughters, Pamela Anderson (James) of WA and Dawn Darner (David Whitcomb) of MN; 4 siblings, Wanda Gaylor, Mary Lou Collins, Sharon Blakeman, & Edward W. Hept; 2 grandchildren, Griffith M. & Keigan P. Duddridge, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 15 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Deborah Hept officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 pm until time of service."
