Robert E. Winkelman
Age 74, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 27, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harry & Norma (Hobbs) Winkelman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, David Duhl.
Bob was a member of First Light Church in Vandalia and was active with the Classics Senior Adult Ministry. He was a life-time member of the Shamrock Club. Bob began his working career at Dayton Press and he retired from Steck Tool & Die. He was a talented bowler and bowled a 300 game twice.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of the past 23 years, Beth-Ann (Stansel) Winkelman; two daughters, Bridget Howard & her husband, Jason and Belinda Duhl; eight grandchildren, Kiran, Ashton, Trenton, Cheyenne, Blake, Chandler, Hunter and Everly; two siblings, Mike Winkelman & his wife, Genia and Kim Boutell & her husband, Richard; his beloved dog, Lacy; and by his extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 17, at First Light Church in Vandalia. Memorial services will follow at Noon with John Seagraves officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Bob to the American Cancer Society. Morton & Whetstone funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
