Robert "Bob" Lett

Age 83, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Born November 20, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert Ronald Lett and the late Lillian Crist Lett.

He was retired from General Motors where he worked as a data analyst in acquisitions for over 46 years, the majority of that time in Dayton, Ohio, and the last eight years in Plano, Texas. After settling into his retirement in Trigg County, Kentucky, Bob enjoyed living life on the lake with his wife, spending his time fishing, building his garage, and N-scale model railroading. He was a member of the Trigg County Historical Society and Friends of Lake Barkley.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jackie Hoover Lett of Cadiz; a sister, Judy Weber of Pitsburg, Ohio; two daughters, Rebecca Marie and Dawn Renee; and several grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Polk Grove Cemetery.
