Robert Carl Kling

Robert Carl Kling Born February 12, 1940 in Cincinnati OH, passed away peacefully on April 6. He is survived by his wife (Mary), daughter and son-in-law (Katrina and Thomas Leigh), daughter, son-in-law, and grandson (Julia, Brian, and Dominic Panzo), brother and sister-in-law (Don and Donna), and sister and brother-in-law (Vicki and Larry Neal). He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert J and Sylvia E McCane and younger sister, Debbie Riley. Bob was an U.S. army veteran and proudly served 22 years on the police force in Vandalia, OH. He was an avid amateur radio operator since the age of 16. He also enjoyed photography, travelling, model railroads, and remote-controlled boats. A memorial service will be held at Morton-Whetstone Funeral Home on Friday, April 10, at 7:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes can be made to Alzheimer's Association or Wounded Warrior Project.
