Richard E Sievering

SIEVERING, Richard E. age 79 of Vandalia passed away Saturday November 14, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born August 22, 1930 in Dayton, son of the late Clarence & Katherine (Clauss) Sievering. Richard was preceded in death by his wife Velma, one brother and one sister. He is survived by one daughter Kathy & husband Victor Farmer of Pleasant Hill; one son Michael & wife Vicki Sievering of Brent, AL; 4 grandchildren Amanda & husband Jason Via, Zachary Sievering, William Richard & wife Ashley Sievering, Matthew Sievering; 5 great-grandchildren Ethan Via, Owen Via, Makenzie Sievering, Hayleigh Sievering, and Taylor Sievering. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 18 at 2:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8pm.
