Rev. Ronald "Ron" Middleton

MIDDLETON, Rev. Ronald Ron , age 82, of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012. Rev. Middleton was born in Portsmouth, OH July 21, 1929 to the late Ernest & Letha (Knipp) Middleton and was the former pastor of Villa Baptist Church. Preceded in death by a daughter, Roni Tate, 3 brothers, Raymond, Earl, Dale Middleton and 1 sister, Faye Oliver. Survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Doris (nee Carroll); 3 daughters, Debra Collins, Rebecca Barson, Paula Reed and husband, Steve; 4 grandchildren, Kara & husband, Rodney Kendall, Emily Tate, Zachary Reed, Savannah Reed; twin brother, Donald Middleton & wife, Theda and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. Thursday until time of memorial service at 6:30 P.M. at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia. There will be a private interment prior to the receiving of friends.
