Redith F. Phillips

PHILLIPS, Redith F., age 79 of Englewood, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Stonespring of Vandalia. Redith was born March 15, 1936 in Clay Hole, KY, daughter of the late James & Nancy (Miller) Stacy. She was a member of the First Grace Brethren Church of Vandalia, enjoyed being with friends, all her church activities and loved playing bingo. Redith is survived by 4 sons, Alfred Allen Jr. of Butler Twp., David Allen (Linda) of Butler Twp., Charles Allen (Dawn) of Dayton & John Allen (Bonnie) of Riverside; 8 grandchildren, Alfred III, Danielle, David, Sarah, Taylor, J.J., Seth & Benjamin; 7 grandchildren, Isabelle, Cylee, Evan, Sue, Sonya, Jason, Isabelle and Rhett; her best friends, Glenda & Wayne Sawyer, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 31 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Jeff Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm.
