Rebecca Susan Watson

Age 71, of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. Rebecca was born December 20, 1949 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Virgil L. & Mildred L. (DeHart) Burton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Ann, Nancy & Juanita.

Rebecca is survived by her loving husband of the past 53 years, Larry D. Watson; three children, Gina Salyers & her husband, Gary, Brian Watson & his wife, Mollie and Jeremy Watson & his wife, Brittany; one brother, Dave Meckley & his wife, Susanne; 10 grandchildren, Bethany, Charlie, Jarrett (Grace), Jacob, Paige (Daniel), Emma, Isaac, Jeremy, Laney & Zavyor; one great grandchild, Lenora; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Robert Legg officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City.
