Randolph M. "Randy" Lindgren

LINDGREN, Randolph M., age 74 of Vandalia passed away suddenly Sunday, October 4, 2015. He was born June 22, 1941 in San Francisco, CA, son of the late Murlin W. & Marguerite (Kelly) Lindgren. Randy retired from the Parsons Corporation in 2006. He became a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association Chapter F in 1992, and after his retirement Randy loved to travel. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn "Kitty" (Whited) Lindgren, his children, Darlene (Dave), Kristina (Kevin), and Scott (Jenni), his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister, Roseanne Vassaux (Hank). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 10 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-7 pm and also on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Randy's favorite charity, The Christmas Project, c/o Joanne Collins, 173 Erie Ave., Fairborn, OH 45324 in his memory. There will be a Goldwing ceremony following visitation at 7:00 pm.
