Phyllis Jean Brown

BROWN, Phyllis Jean age 68 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday September 21, 2010. She was born May 2, 1942 in Bevinsville, KY daughter of the late Robert Lee & Minnie Bell (Johnson) Osborne. Phyllis was a member of the Brother in Christ Church and was a member of the New Carlisle VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary and the Eagles Diamond Aerie #3491. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Bobby, Kenneth, and Lowell Osborne. Phyllis is survived by 2 sons Spencer and Sherman Brown both of Tipp City; 3 daughters Sherry (Tracy) Sirch of Troy, Sonya (John) Baker of Tipp City, Stacey Hodge of Tipp City; 2 brothers Ronnie Osborne of Tipp City, Victor Osborne of FL; 2 sisters Jo Ann Shrewsberry of MI, Shirleen Whitt of FL; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday Sept. 25 at 10:30am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wellness Connection in Phyllis memory.
