Paula J. Hawthorne

Age 75, of Kettering, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020, at Oak Creek Terrace in Kettering. She was born February 16, 1945 in Dayton to the late Paul Emerson & Martha Mae (Sabins) Leighty. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Gerald Boltz.

Paula was a talented Woodworker; having won several national woodworking awards and she was a member of the Western Ohio Woodworking Association for over 40 years. She retired from Miami Valley Hospital as an Occupational Therapist.

Paula is survived by one brother, Clifford Leighty & his wife, Florence; and by her extended family and many good friends.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, services will be private. Interment will be at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville, Ohio.

Morton & Whetstone funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
