Patsy J. Mabelitini

Age 82, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. She was born July 28, 1934 in Dayton to the late Woodrow H. & Mary E. (Kirchner) Rettig. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, John Rettig.

Patsy retired from Riverside Nursing Center as Admissions Director with 21 years of service.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, John L. Mabelitini, Sr.; four children, John Mabelitini, Jr. (Ronell), David Mabelitini (Rose), Marcus Mabelitini (Aliana); daughter, Theresa Daulton (Daryl); brother, William Rettig (Deborah); sister, Barbara Harris (Chris); ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Patsy to the Miami County Hospice.
