Patrick "Pat" P. Jacobs

Patrick Paul Jacobs age 72, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Hospice of Miami County after a short battle with brain cancer. He was born January 27, 1952, in Germantown, Ohio, to the late Lester Cletus & Mary Lois (Metcalf) Jacobs.

On April 24, 1970, in Miamisburg, Ohio, he married Carol Jacobs. Pat & Carol were married just short of 54 years. Together they raised two children: Angie (Wes) Farno of Minster and Scott (Candice) Jacobs, of Vandalia.

Pat was a doting grandfather to Brandon, Ryan, Abigail, Austin, and Gavin. He is also survived by two brothers: Christopher Jacobs of Germantown and Kevin (Kathy) Jacobs of West Milton, in-laws Bob (Sharon) Kinser of Vandalia and Donna (Barry) Queen of Vandalia as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pat was proceeded in death by his beloved miniature yorkie Bella, his brother in-law Jerry Kinser, sister in-law Debbie Kinser, and  as his in-laws Paul & Kathleen Kinser.

Pat was employed by Asplundh (Trees, Inc) from 1982 until his retirement in 2019 as the national safety manager. In addition to spending time with his grandkids, Pat loved to ride his Harley, drive his corvette, regale his family with tales of his travels and attend to his swimming pool.

Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life on Friday, March 8 from 5-7pm at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia, Ohio 45377. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Miami County.  https://www.ohioshospice.org/give/
