Patricia Ann Winkle

WINKLE, Patricia Ann, age 78 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 7, 2014. She was born March 29, 1936 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Lawrence & Helen (Nagy) Garman. Patricia was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and was a retired employee of the Maria Joseph Living Care Center. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 ½ years, Carl B. Winkle, Patricia is survived by her 3 children, Tim Winkle (Pam), Karen Beam (Keith) and Christine Fromholt (Tom), 2 brothers, Larry Garman and Mike Garman (Mindy); 7 grandchildren, Eric, Sara, Joshua, Jacob, Jordan, Megan and Kyle; 6 great-grandchildren, Karlee, Abbey, Logan, Benjamin, Brody and Mary and also her many very special friends. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, August 16 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-4 pm. Private graveside services will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Patricia's memory.
