Patricia M. Hernandez

Patricia “Pat” (Kroeger) Hernandez, 69, of Tipp City, passed away on November 3, 2026. Pat was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on April 17, 1957, where her father was stationed in the U.S. Air Force. Pat was a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and genuine kindness. She served proudly in the U.S. Air Force before getting out to start a family. Pat’s husband of 50 years was her high school sweetheart whom she met in Hawaii while her father was stationed there. Pat also proudly served as a preacher’s wife for several churches around the U.S. Pat is survived by her husband, Dwight Hernandez, two daughters, Tiffany Swafford and Jessica Smith, and 8 grandchildren. Pat will be remembered for the way she loved people. She listened with compassion, encouraged with wisdom, served without seeking recognition, and pointed others lovingly to Christ. Pat’s love for Jesus shaped every part of her life and overflowed into the lives of her children, grandchildren, and others.
