Patricia Louise Covert

Age 89, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in Coldwater, Michigan. Pat was born March 17, 1928 in Williamsburg, PA to the late Carlton “Doc” & Gwendolyn “Mo” Moore. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Covert. Pat previously served on the Vandalia City Council and she enjoyed playing Bridge. She is survived by three children, Carlye Hildebrand (John), Chris Covert (Mary) and C. J. Covert (Lisa); six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday (1/6) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
