Patricia A. Buckwalter

Age 85, of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital – Main Campus.

Pat was born September 11, 1937 in Dayton to the late James & Louella (Hoops) McGowan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Linda Demuth.

She was a long-time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vandalia. For over 30 years she was a teacher in various local school districts and was also active with the Adult GED Program. She liked to sew and was a very talented seamstress. She also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and lunch dates with her friends.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of the past 53 years, Kendall Buckwalter; one son, Neil Buckwalter (Rosemary); one sister, Colleen Webb (Tom); and by several nieces & nephews.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held in the future.
