Patricia Jean Baughman was granted her angel wings on July 15, 2026. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in someway throughout her life. She was born June 18, 1931 and had just celebrated her 95th birthday. He her hobbies and interest included her six children that she was completely devoted to, running them here there and everywhere, (as you can only imagine,) cooking of course. Lots of good cooks in this family! Gardening, helping with school projects, supporting her kids with sports and loads of homework. Oh the advice that woman gave …she shared experiences and information with her grown kids and their children …always willing to help when needed. Loved the Reds and Ohio State football. You could hear her cheering all through the house! An open door policy to all that wanted to visit. One of the kindest women I have ever known. Her heart was full of love and pride. Children include Steve, Susan, Jeff, Mark, Tim(Gina) and Amy(Todd); 18 grandchildren, Kelly, Erin, Andy Brian, Courtney, Jessica, Heather, Josh ,Dustin, Brooke, Justin, Taylor, Jack, Anne, Emily, Katie, Abby, Tyler and numerous great grandkids! Challenges were everywhere and Mom‘s motto was bring it on! She was preceeded in death by her husband, Richard Malcolm Baughman, on August 16, 2024. They were together for 76 years! They are finally together again.

The family will receive friends 10 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, July 20, 2026 at Morton Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, with the funeral service at 12 noon. Pastor Rob Sweeney, officiating. The burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. After the burial, a luncheon will be held at The Luther Lodge where everyone is welcome to share stories and celebrate the life of Pat Baughman; our precious mother that we will cherish forever!!
