Patricia A. Kuhbander

Age 75, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025. She was born on March 2, 1950 in Dayton to the late George & Anna (Wolfinger) Suto. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her friend of over 40 years and husband of 26 years, Charles E. Kuhbander, in 2015.

Pat was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. She was a talented quilter and enjoyed crocheting and baking. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grand & great grandchildren.

Pat is survived by three sisters, Carolyn Suto, Brenda Schmid & her husband, Mark and Barbara Suto; three step-children, Charles L. Kuhbander, Christopher A. Kuhbander (Sheri) & Pamela J. Hurst (Jack); five grandchildren, Dustin, Shane (Sheri), Amber (John), Charlie & Sam; seven great grandchildren, Kolton, Abel, Valena, Bryce, Luka, Dane & Lilith; two nieces, Abigail & Jennifer; sister-in-law, Nancy J. Gallagher; and by her extended family & many good friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Kyle Schnippel at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at St. Christopher Catholic Church. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Pat to the donor’s favorite charity.
