Oma Jean Hardin

HARDIN, Oma Jean, age 98 of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Crossroads Rehabilitation & Nursing Center of Vandalia. She was born July 13, 1914 in Clairfield, TN, daughter of the late Thurman & Betty (Shiffley) Ferguson. Oma was a member of the Ashcraft Church of God. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry, her sister, Opal, and daughter-in-law, Evelyn Ferguson, Oma is survived by her son, Glen Ferguson of Troy; 3 grandchildren, Becky Ferguson, Terry Kelly (Bryan) & Glen Butch Ferguson (Lori); 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and her nephew, Bill Middleton (Rowayne). Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 12, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until time of service.
