Nancy Lou Holler
Age 86, of Butler Twp., passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018. Nancy was born July 22, 1932 in Eolia, KY to the late Irvin & Lou Anna (Shepherd) Boggs. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles, in 2010; siblings, Herschel Boggs, Kenneth Boggs & Hazel Williams; and a grandson, Cpl. Nicholas Brown I.
Nancy was a member of First Light Church (formerly First Baptist Church) of Vandalia for the past 25 years. She was a graduate of Northridge High School, class of 1950 and active with the Northridge High School Alumni Ladies group.
Nancy is survived by three children, Bert Holler (Crystal), Becky Holler-Zimmerman (Jeff) and Nan Holler-Potter (Jon); six grandchildren, Sara Stamps (Eric), Dane Potter, Joshua Potter, April Patton (Matt), Jeffrey Brant & Jean Moses (Aaron); nine great grandchildren; brother, Wayne Boggs (Brenda); long-time friends, Ronald Wagner and Juanita Wampler; and by her extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday (10/10) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m., Thursday (10/11) with John Seagraves officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
