Mitchell Allen Gibson

Age 62, of Huber Heights, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Mitchell was born in Springfield, Ohio on July 27, 1962 to the late Charles William & Bertha Marie (Dooley) Gibson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Patricia Gibson and Linda Gibson.

Mitch enjoyed playing guitar, fishing and bowling. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

Mitch is survived by his loving wife of the past 38 years, Tammy K. (Abner) Gibson; three children, Amber Petry, Brian Gibson and Megan Wieland & her husband, Taylor; six grandchildren, Connor, Logan, Mason, Wyatt, Rhett and Rowan; three siblings, Mike, Danny and Brenda; and by his extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday, December 2, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. William Loudermilk officiating. Interment will be at Polk Grove Cemetery.
