MiOna L. Solomon

MiOna Lee Walker Solomon

Age 86, of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2017 at The Oaks of West Kettering. A native of Dayton and Vandalia, she was born December 26, 1930.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah K. Shaw and daughter-in-law, Kimra Solomon.

MiOna is survived by 1 daughter, Cheryl J. Solomon and husband Jon of New York, 3 sons, Jeffrey T. Solomon and wife Kim of Dayton, Michael Solomon of Springboro and Thomas J. Solomon of Kettering, 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 Noon until time of service at the church.

If friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of MiOna to The Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45420.

Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, is in charge of arrangements.
