Mildred Irene Farley

FARLEY, Mildred Irene, age 86 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 18, 1927 in Stearns, KY, daughter of the late Jerry & Vinia (Rains) Smith. Preceded in death by her husband, George in 1996; 3 sons, George Allen, John D. & Dallas Farley, 1 daughter, Donna Letner, 1 grandson, Gabriel and numerous brothers & sisters, Mildred is survived by her sons, Darrell Farley of Chicago, IL and Dana Farley of Dayton; 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, June 9 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Mildred's memory.
