Michael C. Wark
Age 77, of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Upper Valley Medical Center. Michael was born April 22, 1948 in Dayton to the late Emerson & Martha (Galyon) Wark.
Michael attended Bowling Green State University and graduated from Bluffton College. He retired from Delphos City Schools in 2003 with 30 years of service as a band director. Before he started teaching he was a bass player for various jazz bands in the Toledo area. He was also an OMEA judge for high school marching and concert bands for 25 years. After he retired he taught private guitar lessons and he was an avid stamp collector.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of the past 51 years, Robin L. (Beachler) Wark; two children, Lee Wark and Keri Wark & her partner, James Pasquarelli; one granddaughter, Taylor Pasquarelli; one sister, Paula Curci & her husband, Tim; and by his extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 3, at Morton & Whetstone funeral home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Michael to either the American Heart Association, 8720 Castle Creek Pkwy E Dr #100, Indianapolis, IN 46250 or Diabetes Dayton, 2555 S Dixie Dr UNIT 112, Dayton, OH 45409.
