Meredia Simpson
Age 87, of Tipp City, Ohio formerly Vandalia Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025. Born to her late parents, Clarence Edward & Tressie Lee (Goad) Jones, on November 21, 1937 in Cookeville, Tennessee. She spent her childhood in the country with her siblings and family. She spent close to 50 years working for the General Motors Company. Meredia was a loving daughter, grandmother, aunt, neighbor, friend, and sister to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending her time going to her water aerobics classes, watching documentaries on the television, decorating her home, traveling with friends/family, and going to church regularly. Her favorite hobby was gardening her beautiful flowers and she always made sure to take care of the birds who would frequent her garden. Those who knew Meredia would say that she was a great friend as she cared deeply for those in her life and those who worshipped the lord with her. She also had a great love for children volunteering at the local children’s hospital to hold the babies in the NICU and reading to children at the library.
