Mason Adam Royse

Age 24, of New Carlisle, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Mason was born April 19, 2001 in Dayton to Gary Ray & Melanie R. (Redwine) Royse. In addition to his parents, Mason is also survived by two sisters, Sarah Royse & Megan Royse; grandparents, Ralph & Janet Royse; his beloved pets, his Pekingese, Angel; his parakeet, Beanie; his cat, Remy; and by his extended family & many good friends.

Mason was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Les & Florence Lawson; grandparents, Carl & Marlene Redwine; great grandmother, Sarah Margaret Royse; and by many beloved uncles.

Mason loved playing video games and was a talented artist. He will be remembered as a counselor & friend to many people that he knew online and he was a passionate animal activist.

The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, March 14, at the Mid-County Church of Christ, 2180 Lytle Road, Troy. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm with his grandfather, Ralph Royse, officiating. Following the funeral service, family & friends are invited to a time of food & fellowship in the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Mason to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Morton & Whetstone funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
