Mary Elizabeth Uzzel
Age 88, of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Danbury of Huber Heights.
Mary was born March 14, 1934 in Dayton to the late Angelo & Rose (Victrona) Lapenna. In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Emory Gatlin Uzzel; and by three siblings, Joseph Lapenna, Phyllis McDorman & Frank Lapenna.
Mary was a devoted member of the Huber Heights First Baptist Church and once a month she would meet with her OLR group for lunch.
Mary is survived by one daughter, Linda Uzzel (Molly Swift); two sons, Rodney Uzzel (Cindy) & Greg Uzzel (Ann); six grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, Andrea, Nathan, Megan & Brandon; and by her special nephew, Mike McDorman.
A graveside committal service will be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
