Mary E. Rettig

RETTIG, Mary E. Liz , age 95 of Dayton, Ohio and Seminole, FL, died peacefully on February 25, 2011. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Woodrow Rettig, oldest son, John Rettig, 2 grandsons, Christopher Harris and Sean Rettig. She is survived by her son, William Rettig (Deborah) of Marion, OH; two daughters, Patsy Mabelitini (Jack) of Vandalia and Barbara Harris (Chris) of Largo, FL; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. During the 1960s, Liz and her husband owned and operated Rettigs Music Store at the corner of National Rd. & Dixie Dr. in Vandalia. She retired to Florida in 2006. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 5 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-8 pm. To all my friends and family from Seminole, FL up to Vandalia, OH and all across the country, a beautiful goodnight.
