Mary Ann Moore

MOORE, Mary Ann, age 84, of Dayton, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Kettering Medical Center. She was born June 18, 1941 in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of the late Albert M. & Cecelia (Morley) Fox. Mary Ann was a longtime active member of St. Rita Catholic Church where she served several years with the bereavement committee and enjoyed being a member of the Leisure Club. She will be remembered by her family as a caring and loving mother and grandmother, and by all who knew her as a devout Roman Catholic who embodied God’s love. She is survived by her son, Richard Moore & wife, Susanne, of Huber Heights and daughter, Cheryl Guerin & husband, Michael of Fairport, New York; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas, Tessalee, Jonathon, Brianna, Bethany, Elise & Christopher.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am, Friday, March 27 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 5401 N. Main St., Dayton with Fr. Tony Fortman, C.PP.S. officiating. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown, Ohio. The family will receive friends at church on Friday morning from 8:00 am – 9:00 am. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
