Mary Ann Leaf passed peacefully on February 14, 2025. Born on September 1, 1926, Mary Ann was survived by her children Mary Jo, Stephen, Dennis and David, as well as her sisters Barb and Patty, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mary Ann was predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Daniel Leaf, baby daughter Patty Ann, and brother Raymond.
Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took great care of her family, and cooked and baked homemade meals every day. She made the best pancakes and banana bread. Not only did she have an endless amount of goodies along with the candy bowl, she always catered to her family members, making all their favorites when they came to visit.
Mary Ann loved to crochet and embroider and did crosswords and word find puzzles every day. She also enjoyed QVC shopping and magazines, especially the Hollywood gossip ones. In her younger years in California, she loved attending golf tournaments to collect autographs and get her picture taken with celebrities. Above all, her favorite activity was going to the casino and getting scratch off tickets. Mary Ann was known for her astounding luck, almost always winning at the casino and on her scratchers, as well as frequently finding cash in parking lots. She was a great lover of animals and at times would spoil them more than her family members.
Everyone has their own special memories of Mary Ann and the love she showed us. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all.
