Marilyn Lawhorn, 94, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025. She was born to Ralph & Gladys Schaurer on Feb. 10, 1931 in Phillipsburg, Ohio. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Lawhorn; grandson, Brad Robert Lawhorn; granddaughter, Mandy Breanna Stine; and a sister & brother. Survived by 2 sons, Bart Lawhorn (Bonnie) & Brent R. Lawhorn; daughters, Kathleen Ely (Bill) & Vicki Martin; daughter-in-law, Colleen Lawhorn; numerous grandchildren, great & great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2025 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City, OH 45371. Arrangements entrusted to the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia. Condolences can be shared at www.MortonWhetstoneFH.com.
