Margaret "Peg" Briney

BRINEY, Margaret L. Peg age 71 of Vandalia, passed away Sunday May 8, 2011 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1939 in Dayton, daughter of the late Charles & Jeanne (Clark) Pricer. Peg formerly attended the Vandalia United Methodist Church. She was a nurse at the Vandalia Medical Center and also was a school nurse at Helke Elementary and Morton Middle School. Peg was preceded in death by her husband John Briney. She is survived by one daughter Cindy & husband Doug Herbst of Vandalia and one son Chuck Briney of West Carrollton; one granddaughter Elizabeth Herbst; 2 brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8pm. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association in Pegs memory.
