Lynn I. Bahr, a beloved domestic engineer and generous spirit, passed away on July 10, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, following a brief illness. Born on January 3, 1939, Lynn lived a life marked by kindness, warmth, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.

As a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School in Dayton, class of 1957, Lynn carried the values of her education into every aspect of her life. She was known not only for her intelligence but also for her caring nature, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. Her remarkable generosity touched the lives of many, making a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Holidays were especially important to Lynn, and she embraced each season with open arms and a joyful heart. Known affectionately as the "Christmas Queen," Lynn created cherished memories for her family during festive gatherings that will echo in their hearts forever. Her children loved spending those joyous times by her side, basking in her love and enthusiasm for life.

Beyond her devotion to family, Lynn had diverse interests that brought her joy and fulfillment. She cherished spending time on the golf course, exploring antiques, and immersing herself in the world of books. Cooking and baking were among her happiest pastimes, as she often delighted in sharing her culinary creations with loved ones.

Lynn was a longtime member of Polk Grove United Church of Christ, where she nurtured her faith and formed strong bonds within the community. Her presence there was a reflection of her commitment to both her spirituality and the people she held dear.

She is survived by her loving daughter Krista Greer and husband Jack, her cherished grandchildren, Jake Greer, Jordan Greer and fiancée Kelly, Shelby Thompson and husband Justin, Gio Schiavone, Sydney Schiavone, and their father, Dan Schiavone, along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever cherish the memory of her sweet spirit.

Lynn is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her daughter Lori Schiavone, her brother Kevin Brandenburg, and her sister-in-law Lynne Brandenburg. Each of them played a special role in her life, and her legacy continues through the love and memories shared by all who knew her.

In the hearts of her family and friends, Lynn’s kindness and generosity will forever be remembered, a testament to a life well-lived and a soul that shone brightly among us. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered.
