Lucille Marjorie Myers

MYERS, Lucille M., 88, of Tipp City, Ohio, formerly of Hanover, Pennsylvania, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at Landings of Huber Heights. She was born to Clarence & Florence Shoemaker on February 10, 1932 in Littlestown, PA. Lucille was retired from Doubleday Publishing after many years of service as a manuscript typist. She was a member of the West Charleston Church of the Brethren in Tipp City. In Pennsylvania, Lucille was a well known accordion player and seamstress. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Spurgeon J. Shoemaker. Survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Richard E. Myers; daughter & son-in-law, Lori Lynn & Neil Diehl, of Tipp City; granddaughters, Julianna Christine & Heather Lynn Diehl; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Pastor Caleb Kragt, officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia.
