Papaw Lloyd passed away December 1, 2021 at age 94.  He was born July 18, 1927 in Claiborne County, Tennessee. He moved to White Oak where he lived for many years, later he moved to Lafollette.  He loved to hunt and fish.  Papaw Lloyd came to Dayton to live with his granddaughter and family in 2005.  He was a wonderful man, always happy with a great sense of humor.  He was kind, caring and he was a pleasure to be around and loved children.  Papaw will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  He married Viola Wilson (deceased) and became the step-father of eight kids and one grandchild.  He also married Arlene Bolton (deceased). Arlene had 3 children.  Papaw’s parents, French and Martha Marlow, and numerous siblings passed years before him. He leaves many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Papaw had a very special boy he helped raise the past 16 years, Dylan Lake.  He and Dylan were inseparable early on and always had a special bond.  He told us he was ready to be with the Lord and we know that is where he is.

Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, Ohio.  Visitation begins at 11:00 am with services at 12:30.  Burial:  Polk Grove Cemetery, Butler Township.
