Leslie Lawson Jr.

LAWSON, Leslie JR, age 78 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday October 24, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was the owner of Les Lawson Construction and was an Elder of the Tipp City Church of Christ. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran. Leslie was preceded in death by 2 sisters Lorain Brush and Deloris Hopkins. He is survived by his wife Florence Lawson; 3 children Russell & wife Melody Lawson, Lynn Lawson, and Janet & husband Ralph Royse; 2 sisters Glenna Burdette and Eloise Arndts; 7 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 28 at 10:30am at the Tipp City Church of Christ with Mr. Bob Vincent officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Friday evening from 5 to 8pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Mr. Lawsons memory.
