Kristi R. Meyers, age 29 of Tipp City, Ohio lost her battle against complications of congenital heart disease at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus on March 30, 2022. God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be. He put his arms around her and said “Come to Me” (unknown author).
Born in Kettering, Ohio on September 12,1992 to William T. and Alyne R. Meyers. She was a 2011 graduate of Wayne High School in Huber Heights and a student at Sinclair Community College. She enjoyed reading, gaming, shopping, watching old sitcoms and playing with her 3 year old labrador retriever.
Kristi was loved by all who knew her. She was thoughtful and loving with an inner beauty and strong faith that amazed her family and friends. Her resilience and strength to carry on in spite of her illness was portrayed in her Facebook quote from Wings of Your Soul:
“I am a strong woman. Everything that’s hit me in life I’ve dealt with on my own. I’ve cried myself to sleep. Picked myself up and wiped my own tears. I have grown from things that break me. I got stronger by the day and I have God to thank for that.”
We are comforted knowing she is no longer suffering or in pain. We will miss her dearly.
Kristi is survived by her father, mother, sister Jessica Walker, numerous relatives, and her dog and best buddy Jasper.
